Christmas Party in August!!

Hi all my darling childrens: PLEASE mark your calendars RIGHT NOW, while you are reading this...We are having our annual Christmas Party on Saturady, August 30th, at Tuscora Park, over by the tennis courts by the play area, under the shelters. (Since we have this area all day, we can get together on the time we want to eat, etc.) The reason being: We have relatives living UP North, and we will be having children living down in the southern part of the state, and since winter is very unpredictable here, we decided to have it during the summer months. As you know, we were not able to have our party last December due to the bad weather. All the rides at the park will still be opened and everyone can swim, ride the rides; play on the toys, or play tennis, basketball, or whatever you want to do. We already rented this area for the entire day so we can have our cookout, etc. We will have our regular gift exchange (just like in December) and having our fun, food and fellowship. I will get together with you girls in regards to what food we will have or what you will want to bring. I know this sure won't seem real Christmasy, but we just can't risk the icy roads and bad weather again. The reason we are not having it in the fall is because all the rides will be closed for the season, and the kids won't have as much fun. NOW....NEXT YEAR, 2009, we have already rented the pavillion for the entire day..I will give you more details later. Please mark your calendars for Saturday, August 30th, 2008....love you all Mom
