Today Pastor Joe resigned to take a position at New Pointe in Dover. Jeff Bartell (spelling ?) is up for lead pastor and we vote in 2 weeks. Right now Rich VanArsdalen (spelling?) is the only pastor we have. That's a heavy burden for 1 man, don't you think?

Wow!! We really need to be praying for Rich and the entire church. Alot of changes have taken place in this past year. We need to uphold Rich in a special way now that everything is landing on his shoulders. Thanks for the update..love, Mom
Ya know, Rich has a real heart for people (not saying he hasn't made mistakes, we all have!) but he seems so genuine and I believe that the Lord has placed him here to help us through this time.
Let's pray the right Godly man is voted in, and that the members don't just settle for someone because of our current situation!

that is a perfect choice of church for pastor joe. it seems like that church is all about numbers. and that is what pastor joe was always concerned about.
pastor rich will need all the prayers we can pray! and also for pastor bartell. thanks for the update steph

Thanks for the update! I'm glad to hear Joe has resigned. I believe its answered prayer. Will be praying for the church.
